Start with the official specification

Hood Warfare 2 lists separate minimum and recommended Windows PC requirements. These are the developer’s published specifications, not measured performance results from this site. They do not promise a particular frame rate, resolution or graphics preset.

Compare the exact model names in your system information with the lists below. A product family name alone, such as Core i5 or GeForce RTX, is not enough to establish where a particular component fits.

Minimum requirements

The Steam listing specifies the following minimum configuration.

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit, version 1909 or newer.
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-9600K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (6 cores).
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM.
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT 6 GB.
  • DirectX: Version 12.
  • Storage: 25 GB available space.

Requirements shared by both lists

Both configurations require a 64-bit processor and operating system, a broadband Internet connection and a DirectX-compatible sound card. The available storage figure concerns free disk space, not the total capacity printed on the drive.

Our practical preparation tip is to check the installation drive before downloading. Leave room for your normal system use and future updates as well as the published game requirement. We do not claim a specific additional update-space requirement.

Make changes you can evaluate

If you adjust graphics settings, record your starting configuration and change one option at a time. Repeat a comparable scene before deciding whether it helped. This is a general troubleshooting method; no benchmark data or tested competitive preset is supplied here.

For a problem that continues, make a concise report with your operating system, CPU, graphics card, RAM, the settings you used and the point where the issue occurs. The official Steam Community is a useful place to look for discussions about the current build. The Windows listing alone does not confirm macOS, Linux or Steam Deck compatibility.

Keep a copy of the settings that worked for you. A clear record makes it easier to return to a familiar configuration after an experiment and to describe the difference when asking for help.
